Important: By using the services of Makkah Laundry Service Point, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Makkah Laundry Service Point ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, placing an order, or using our laundry services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Makkah Laundry Service Point provides professional laundry and garment care services, including but not limited to:
- Standard laundry services (washing, drying, folding)
- Express laundry services (expedited processing)
- Ironing and pressing services
- Specialized care for Ihram garments, thobes, and traditional clothing
- Pickup and delivery services
Services are subject to availability and may vary based on location, season (Hajj/Umrah periods), and operational capacity.
3. Service Orders
3.1 Placing an Order
You may place an order through:

- In-person at our service location
3.2 Order Confirmation
All orders are subject to acceptance by Makkah Laundry Service Point. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Inability to fulfill the order within the requested timeframe
- Garments unsuitable for our cleaning processes
- Suspected fraudulent activity
- Force majeure events (see Section 11)
3.3 Customer Responsibilities
When placing an order, you must:
- Provide accurate contact information and delivery address
- Check all pockets and remove personal items before handing over garments
- Inform us of any special care instructions, stains, or damage
- Separate garments that may bleed color or require special handling
- Ensure items are suitable for professional cleaning
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Service Charges
Pricing for our services is based on:
- Type of service selected (Standard, Express, Ironing)
- Number and type of garments
- Weight of laundry (for bulk orders)
- Delivery location and distance
- Seasonal demand (Hajj/Umrah peak periods)
Current pricing information is available on our website, via WhatsApp, or upon request. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via:
- Cash on delivery (SAR)
4.3 Payment Terms
Payment is due upon delivery of cleaned garments unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. Failure to make payment may result in retention of garments and potential legal action to recover costs.
5. Pickup and Delivery
5.1 Pickup Service
We offer free or low-cost pickup service within designated areas near the Haram. Pickup times are scheduled based on availability and route optimization. You must:
- Be available at the specified pickup time or leave garments with hotel reception
- Provide accurate location details
- Ensure garments are properly bagged and labeled
5.2 Delivery Service
We aim to deliver your cleaned garments within the agreed timeframe. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons (Hajj/Ramadan). You must:
- Be available to receive delivery or authorize hotel reception to accept on your behalf
- Inspect garments upon delivery and report any issues immediately
5.3 Delays
While we strive to meet all delivery commitments, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, hotel restrictions, or operational issues.
6. Garment Care and Liability
6.1 Standard of Care
We exercise professional care and industry best practices in handling your garments. However, some fabrics and items carry inherent risks during cleaning:
- Delicate fabrics (silk, wool, specialty materials)
- Garments with embellishments, beads, or decorations
- Items with pre-existing damage or wear
- Non-colorfast fabrics that may bleed or fade
- Antique or valuable textiles
6.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any lost, damaged, or destroyed garment is limited to the lesser of:
- 10 times the cleaning charge for that item, OR
- Fair market value of the item, OR
- SAR 500 (Five Hundred Saudi Riyals) per item
We are NOT liable for:
- Items left in pockets (money, jewelry, documents, electronics, etc.)
- Color bleeding from non-colorfast garments
- Damage to garments with pre-existing defects or wear
- Shrinkage of natural fibers within industry-accepted standards (up to 3%)
- Damage caused by buttons, zippers, or embellishments that were already loose or damaged
- Loss of garments not claimed within 90 days of completion
- Consequential, indirect, or special damages (e.g., travel disruptions, emotional distress)
6.3 Claims Process
To file a claim for damaged or lost items:
- Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide your order receipt and description of the issue
- Submit photographic evidence if applicable
- We will investigate and respond within 7 business days
Claims reported after 24 hours will not be accepted.
7. Unclaimed Garments
Garments not claimed within 90 days of service completion will be considered abandoned. We reserve the right to:
- Charge storage fees for items held beyond 30 days
- Donate unclaimed items to charity after 90 days
- Dispose of items that cannot be donated
We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before disposing of unclaimed garments.
8. Customer Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service to customers who:
- Engage in abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward our staff
- Provide false or misleading information
- Repeatedly fail to make payment
- Attempt to defraud our business
- Violate these Terms and Conditions
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Makkah Laundry Service Point and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our branding or trademarks for commercial purposes
- Modify or create derivative works from our content
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our laundry services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. For more information about our services, visit our homepage.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, storms)
- Government actions, restrictions, or regulations
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Power outages or utility failures
- Labor disputes or strikes
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Material changes will be communicated via:

- Email or WhatsApp message (if you have provided contact information)
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
13.2 Informal Resolution
Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any disputes informally. Most issues can be resolved through good-faith communication.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Makkah Laundry Service Point regarding the use of our services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
